Introducing "The Dorothy Project"

PLEASE GO SEE THE WEBSITE!!! AND PASS THE WORD. All the work in full detail is there and I will reference the work that often. I will be indulging behind the scenes images and details that I might not ever get a chance to share otherwise.

This first post gives a small insight into "The Dorothy Project" and where it really came from, without all the "ART" speak that I never seemed to escape from when speaking about it.
While absorbed in Led Zepplin and Jimmy Page being channeled an ex-athlete, I saw I picture of my Cousin in a Dorothy costume on my parents fridge. I thought that it would be fun, weird, disturbing and hilarious to dress and play Dorothy. It wasn't until the "Hammers project" was almost complete did I start making the connection to that at idea with the music of Pink Floyd. After reading the Oz books (including wicked) I thought, "what if Dorothy became a disgruntled construction working who builds the yellow brick road" and the whole story I'm telling now, snowballed from there.

The First prep drawing of dorothy (re)building the Yellow Brick Road.

I quick look at the Witch Costume idea.
